Vacuum packaging

Vacuum, i.e. airtight, packaging offers several benefits. It extends your products’ shelf life by a factor of 3 to 5, while also better preserving flavour and nutritional qualities. And it also better protects your frozen products against drying out, loss of flavour, and microbiological risks.

Meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, and potato products can all be vacuum packed. Vacuum packaging will also save you a lot of space, so that you can store or ship more of it at a time. This way of packaging products will therefore help you cut transport costs.

Harthoorn Packaging is as yet not able to offer vacuum packaging. But we are willing to assess this option with you and eventually invest in vacuum packaging facilities. Please contact us to enquire after the possibilities.
